Would really enjoy&like to receive your newsletter.I live in north TX now &very much enjoy gardening & learning new tricks of the trade after many years & many different experiments with different types of flowers, plants, bushes & growing new trees. I find gardening to be one of the most meditative & peaceful things I do.Ironic part about my love of gardening is…. as a child I would have to weed in our garden or yard for “x amt of hrs for punishment” & now I look forward to keeping my garden beautiful & love getting dirty!! And am also very much enjoying teaching my toddler, whom is ultra-enthusiastic of tge outdoors, the crucial &truly vital importance of gardening &appreciating our land in general&what role plants of all different sorts(being the “living” things that they are&that sadly many people tend to “overlook” and/or discount their relevance in our ecosystem. My 2 1/2yo daughter is intrigued to learn just how very much plants&wildlife(&their lifecycles&foodchain)all help to sustain our very lives here on this planet which gives me hope! LoL… it’s funny how with just a lil bit of time, fighting for the freedom our country, being in the war, becoming disabled at a very young age,&then miracously getting the joy of being a ingke mother(hard, but so worth it!) drastically changed my whole perspective after such intense life experiences. I am grateful for the simple thungs in life (like the sweet smell of lilac or lavender)&do what I can to help develop our natural resources…&since plants provide some of the very basic elements we as humans need to breathe&sustain life, I find plants of all kinds invaluable beyond measure. If only all the “busy” people” building highways&logging hillsides of beautiful mountains (due to human wasteful attitudes&lack of recycling) could see their future impact on society&generations in years to come… maybe they’d cone to their senses before it’s too late!
