Plant grow lights
I have a grow light to start plants. I don’t remember how close the light should be to the plants. How close should the pots be to start seedlings and held over geraniums?
Once the seedlings start to emerge from the soil the light should be 3-6″ above the top of the seedlings with 12-14 hours of exposure. If the leaves start to turn downward or look scorched, then the light is too close. Seedlings/cuttings require high light intensity to develop into sturdy, healthy plants.
